MANASSEIN V.S. IRKUTSK (Construction history).- Irkutsk, 1920-s. A typed document.
This Irkutsk history article was written by one of the first scientific library directors V.S. Manassein. It has many interesting facts – a city geographical region description, pre-historic times population, Russian colonization information, first hibernation place, which gave a rise to the city. Author specified a city administrative, economic and cultural development, a detailed architectural monuments characteristics. The notes of foreign observers and explorers of different historical periods were used in this book.
