Irkutsk spiritual seminary opening act
IRKUTSK SPIRITUAL SEMINARY OPENING ACT IN THE HOUSE BUILT FOR THIS PURPOSE. – Irkutsk, 1846.
12 pages. A good condition. Bookbinding is a cardboard, wrapped in silk.
The book is kept in a special cardboard frame with a signature “News about Irkutsk seminary. 1846”.
“Opening Act…” includes a brief history of a new building construction for Spiritual Seminary and its new location advantages. There is an archbishop Nil’s speech in the honor of this event and his signed construction expenditures list. The handwritten book is decorated by watercolor and pencil drawings, done by the seminar pupils.
